Dr. Matthew Lane
MS, DVM, CCRT
A native of the Texas Panhandle, Dr. Matthew James Lane attended West Texas A&M in Canyon, TX before transferring to Colorado State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. He furthered his studies in anatomy and neurobiology, receiving a master’s degree, and ultimately completed his doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2004.
Among his many other talents, Dr. Lane is also a certified canine rehabilitation therapist.
His biggest achievement is the family he has created with Nancy, with whom he has three children – oldest daughter Lexi, second daughter, Landi, and son, McCrae. They also have adopted two dachshunds named Heidi and Beatrice from the DFW Dachshund Rescue Group.


Dr. Kara Harman
DVM
Dr. Harman is originally from McKinney, Texas, where she grew up and graduated from high school. She spent 4 years playing Division I soccer at Rice University in Houston, Texas, and graduated with her Bachelor's in Biological Sciences. She went on to vet school at Texas A&M and graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2021.
Dr. Kara Harman has a special interest in animal behavior, is certified in Fear Free medicine, and has a soft spot for working with animals to make sure they have the best experience possible.
Dr. Harman is married to Max, who is a Marine Corps veteran. They have a son, Mikhail, and are planning on continuing to grow their family. They have 3 dogs: an English cream golden retriever (Kalli), a Staffordshire/chow mix (Cary), and a husky/heeler mix (Koda). In her free time, Dr. Harman enjoys hiking, hunting, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Stetson Lanier
DVM
Dr. Lanier was born and raised in North Texas. In 2015, he completed his undergraduate studies at Cameron University with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science. Dr. Lanier graduated with his DVM in 2019.
He spent his first 3 years of vet school at Ross University of Veterinary Medicine. He then completed his Clinical year at Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. His interests include: orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, and providing the best care for his patients.
Dr. Lanier loves to spend his free time with his wife Meredith (who is also a veterinarian) and newborn son, Halston. He has a herd of animals with 3 dogs (Bea, Cowboy, and Emmie) and 4 cats (Milo, Riley, Boo, and Nimbus).


Dr. Meredith Lanier
DVM
Dr. Meredith Lanier's journey in veterinary medicine began with her graduation from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019, following her completion of a bachelor's degree in Animal Science at Iowa State University.
Rooted in the heartlands of the Midwest, Dr. Lanier spent her childhood immersed in sports like basketball and volleyball, instilling in her a disciplined work ethic and team spirit.
Since then, Dr. Lanier has seamlessly merged her professional expertise with the joys of family life. At home, alongside her husband and their 8-month-old son, she shares her love with a bustling household of three dogs and four cats. Her compassionate care extends from her patients to her family, creating a nurturing environment both inside and outside the hospital walls.
Dr. Cami McJett
MS, DVM
Dr. McJett was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her passion for veterinary medicine grew as she attended Saul Agricultural High School where she worked with small and large animals daily. She completed her undergraduate degree at Delaware State University.
A year later, she attended Tuskegee University where she completed her Master’s in Animal and Poultry Science and then went on to pursue her DVM degree. She graduated from Tuskegee College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2024.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and going on nature walks.


Dr. Amanda Brown
DVM
Dr. Amanda Brown grew up on a 10-acre ranch in Mission, Texas, where her early exposure to animals sparked a deep passion for their well-being. To Dr. Brown, being a veterinarian means prioritizing the health of our beloved pets while working in the best interests of their human companions.
She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2015, followed by a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2020. Her veterinary interests include dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and animal behavior.
Outside of work, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring new adventures with her dogs, and finding new ways to keep her cats entertained.
Dr. Maddy Zeek
MS, DVM
Dr. Maddy Zeek was fortunate to grow up with a wide variety of animals fueling her passion for veterinary medicine. From reptiles to pocket pets to birds to dogs and cats to horses, you name it, she owned it. Her veterinary journey began when she received her bachelor’s degree in animal science from Cal Poly Pomona. She then continued her education by receiving a master’s degree in microbiology from Colorado State University. She achieved her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian when she received her doctorate degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
Dr. Zeek is passionate about hospice and palliative care as well as geriatric medicine. Her other interests include endocrinology and surgery including dentistry. Dr. Zeek loves spending time with all her patients and clients and is a Fear Free certified veterinarian. Outside of work, Dr. Zeek enjoys spending time with her English cream golden retriever, Luke; her Bengal cat, Lily; and her husband, Eli. Her favorite thing to do is spending time outdoors in the sunshine whether that be on a patio with good food and good company or spending time out at the barn with her horse, Poptart.


Dr. Xavier Coonrod
DVM
Dr. Coonrod is originally from a suburb of Dallas, Texas. His passion for caring for animals led him to Texas A&M University in College Station, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Poultry Science with honors in 2021. He continued his education at Texas A&M, graduating with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025.
During vet school, Dr. Coonrod developed a strong interest in small animal surgery, dentistry, and physical rehabilitation. He enjoys the problem-solving and hands-on nature of surgery, the precision and preventative care involved in dentistry, and the rewarding outcomes that rehabilitation can provide for pets recovering from injury or illness. He is also Fear Free Certified for small animals, which reflects his commitment to making veterinary visits as stress-free and comfortable as possible.
At home, Dr. Coonrod stays busy with his own pack: Buster, a spunky Italian Greyhound mix; Dennis, a talkative Siamese cat; and Hops, a sweet and goofy pit-mix. His goal is always to provide thoughtful, compassionate, and practical care to every patient he sees.
Dr. Haley Fontenot
DVM
Dr. Haley Fontenot is originally from Orange, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University in 2020, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M in 2025. Her passion for veterinary medicine began early in life while caring for the animals her family raised at home.
Dr. Fontenot enjoys all things surgery-related, with a particular interest in orthopedic surgery. She is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to both pets and their owners. Dr. Fontenot is also Fear Free Certified and is dedicated to making veterinary visits as stress-free and comfortable as possible for both her patients, as well as their owners.
Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors and staying active, as well as spending time with her two cats, Arya and Fig.
